Newly Released Emails Claim Epstein Told Associates Trump “Knew About the Girls”

 Live Update

A new batch of emails released by House Democrats has reignited controversy surrounding the late financier Jeffrey Epstein and his connections to former President Donald Trump. The messages, obtained by the House Oversight Committee and made public this week, include allegations that Trump was aware of Epstein’s illegal conduct years before Epstein’s 2019 arrest.

According to excerpts published by The Guardian, AP News, and Axios, Epstein wrote in a 2011 email to Ghislaine Maxwell that Trump had “spent hours at my house” with one of the victims involved in his sex-trafficking operation — a person whose name was redacted from the document. Epstein allegedly referred to Trump as “that dog that hasn’t barked,” implying that Trump had remained silent about their past interactions.

In another message sent in 2019, Epstein reportedly told journalist Michael Wolff that “of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop,” suggesting that Trump had direct awareness of his behavior toward minors.

Trump has long acknowledged knowing Epstein socially but insists he had “a falling-out” with him many years ago. The former president has repeatedly denied any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities, calling such claims “baseless and politically motivated.”

The newly surfaced emails, however, have sparked demands for further transparency. House Oversight Democrats say the documents should be part of a broader public release of Epstein-related records, often referred to as the “Epstein files.”

“These emails raise serious questions about who knew what and when,” one Democratic member said in a statement. “The American people deserve to see the full picture.”

No criminal charges have been brought against Trump in connection to Epstein’s sex-trafficking case, and legal experts caution that the emails alone are not conclusive evidence of wrongdoing. Much of the correspondence remains heavily redacted, leaving important context undisclosed.

Still, the revelations have generated fresh scrutiny of Trump’s long-standing ties to Epstein — a relationship that has shadowed him since Epstein’s 2019 death in federal custody.

As investigations into Epstein’s network continue, lawmakers and the public alike are demanding answers about how deep those connections ran — and whether the world will ever learn the full truth.
